How To Conquer Your Panic Today!

March 26, 2009

If you’ve ever had a panic or anxiety attack, you understand the complete terror…

“An attack comes on like a wave, and you can feel it coming, you find yourself covered with a massive wave of panic and anxiety. You
“know” it isn’t rational, but the feeling is beyond intense. Your heart feels like it is racing and might beat out of your chest. Your ears might start pounding. The air gets thin and space disappears. Everything is closing in and you just want it to end. You can feel your whole body tighten and tense. The fear is undescribable……”

And it’s crippling living with the realization that these attacks can happen anywhere, anytime. And, for no reason. It leaves a lump in your stomach and you begin to fear going out, never knowing what terrible thing might happen. And instead of getting better, it seems to be getting worse…”

If you suffer from panic and anxiety attacks you know what I mean. Here are a few signs you might be headed down that dark path…

Light Headedness – you experience dizzy spells or light headedness (and they might lead to fainting spells)

Breathing Difficulty – have you experienced your throat tightening making it difficult to swallow, followed by a shortness of breath

Speeding Heart – that loud, pounding heart with tingly sensations all over your body

Chest Pain – a tightness in your chest

Overwhelming Fear – the overwhelming terror that something truly terrible is about to happen?

I was there. I talked to my doctor, but he didn’t seem to truly understand. I tried hypnotherapy, it help a bit, but only for a while. I read a lot of books.

Without a doubt, One Single Book saved my life.

Now I enjoy a very active social life, a great family life, and a life free from panic and anxiety. Only I few years back I was scared to go to my daughters soccer games. Now, I’ve got my life back.

It’s been 3 years since I’ve had any sign of an anxiety or panic attack. And I’m SO grateful for the help I received.

PLEASE!!  Take a few minutes to read this…

Did I just have a panic/anxiety attack?

April 29, 2010

I wasn’t breathing right, I was shaking, I couldn’t stop crying, and I had these sudden extreme feelings that someone won’t accept me for who I am. It didn’t last very long, but a few minutes later, it happened again. I don’t know if I had a panic attack, or anxiety attack. Also, what’s the difference? Please Help.
Also, how could I prevent this from happening again?
Okay, I forgot to mention, I’m 14 and I definitely can’t afford any medications. And I doubt my parents would get me any. So, anything cheap? Or any other ideas?

If you ask to see your doctor, then ask the doctor to test your thyroid, adrenals, and cortisol , also sex, and dheas hormones, then get a copy of the lab results for yourself…….. if your TSH (thyroid) is outside the .2 to 3 area then , all these panic attacks could by because of thyroid imbalances or other hormones.
most doctors never test that

then ask for a referral to a hormone expert from your parents…….and have them look into the experts, like these feelingfff.com , thehallcenter.com , drlowe.com , etc…
not regular doctors
compounding pharmacies usually know who the hormone experts are in your area

Can Panic attacks/ anxiety attacks cause discoloration of your fingernails?

April 12, 2010

I’m just curious because I’ve had a lot of panic and anxiety attacks and just noticed that my finger nails have an off-white line across them and a bit of a dark purple color just under that. So is this caused by panic/ anxiety attacks or is it something more serious than that?

Discoloration of the fingernails is usually caused by a variety microorganisms. However, it can also be the panic attacks, they pose many risks to the body’s immune system. Anyway, you should see a doctor and get examined. If you want to treat the panic attacks you can try this site for a natural method: http://tinyurl.com/ylkuwhx/panic

what causes you to get a panic/ anxiety attack all of a sudden one day?

March 18, 2010

I am so curious if anyone knows how you just get anxiety one day, I had never even heard or anxiety or panic attacks, then all of a sudden it started 2 years ago and has run my life ever since. So you just get it for no reason and then you have it forever??, it doesn’t seem right

You have a treatable illness called anxiety disorder. it is an imbalance in the adrenaline system which sets off a chemical reaction in your body that triggers feelings. You need to see a psychiatrist for an evaluation and get on medication that will reduce your symptoms and eventually eliminate them.

Unless, of course, you want to keep living like this. It is a choice. There is no why. There is only what and what is a disorder that is common and treatable. it is not something you can control or wish away.

Is it possible to have anxiety/panic attack while sleeping?

January 19, 2010

Alright, well I would rather not get into too much, but lately, my depression has seemed to return and for the last few days I have been just breaking down in tears about how I just can’t live my life like this. And the other night I cried myself to sleep and then awoke in the middle of the night shaking very badly and all sweaty. I then threw up a little but finally got control of myself and got back to sleep. My question is if it is possible to have a panic attack during sleep…?

Yes it is.
Very much so.
I cant help but liken those symptoms to withdrawal from drugs and alcohol.Have you recently been using drugs or alcohol. If you answered yes this could be the big reason why.
If not you should consider seeing you doctor about this.

What is the difference between an anxiety attack and a panic attack?

January 17, 2010

There’s no difference. It’s just 2 different ways to say the same thing. I think anxiety attack would be the more correct way to say it though.
